Our client is looking for a Team Leader IT Infrastructure & Security Services (Managed Services) (m/f/d) to lead a distributed infrastructure and security team, look after clients in the managed services environment, and actively help shape the development and expansion of modern service and solution offerings.

Your Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and developing an Infrastructure & Security team (team size of approx. 4 employees across multiple locations)

• Operational support in network, datacenter and security topics (troubleshooting, operations, incident handling)

• Advising clients on infrastructure, network and security solutions in a managed services context

• Contributing to strategic projects around service design, SLAs, processes and portfolio development

• Collaborating with vendors and support organisations (e.g. provider management, escalations, TAC)

• Further development of standards, processes and documentation (knowledge management)

• Responsibility for lifecycle topics, service quality and customer satisfaction

• Close cooperation with sales, project management and other technical teams

• Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their professional and personal development

Your Profile

• 5–7 years of experience in the infrastructure and/or security environment, ideally with an IT service provider or service provider

• Sound knowledge of network and security technologies, particularly in the environment of a major vendor (e.g. Cisco)

• Understanding of managed services, SLAs, operational processes and service lifecycle

• Knowledge of SIEM/SOC environments as well as experience with other security and datacenter solutions is an advantage

• Completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker:in) or a comparable qualification

• Initial experience in mentoring or professional leadership; disciplinary leadership experience is a plus, but not a must

• Strong desire to shape things, high ownership and enjoyment of customer contact and consulting

• Customer-oriented, solution-oriented and structured way of working, combined with technical depth

• Very good communication skills and enjoyment of working in distributed teams

• Attractive salary in the range of €75,000–€95,000; up to approx. €100,000 for highly experienced candidates, company car possible by agreement
