Our client from the international real estate and investment sector is looking for a Senior Valuation Manager (m/f/d) to independently analyse and value real estate portfolios, as well as take responsibility for the further development and quality assurance of valuation processes.

Your responsibilities

• Coordination, procurement and verification of valuation-relevant data in cooperation with internal departments

• Independent analysis and valuation of real estate portfolios for acquisitions and sales, as well as for financing and accounting purposes

• Preparation, review and plausibility checking of cash flow and DCF models

• Review of external valuation reports, taking into account national and international valuation standards as well as internal guidelines

• Handling internal valuation queries, including key figure analysis and development valuations

• Preparation of quarterly reporting and cooperation with auditors on valuation issues

Your profile

• Completed degree in real estate management or a comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in real estate valuation

• Sound knowledge of common valuation methods, in particular income approach, DCF, comparative value and asset value methods

• Confident handling of national and international valuation standards, in particular ImmoWertV and RICS Red Book

• Experience in analysing leases and rent rolls, as well as in deriving valuation-relevant parameters such as market rent, vacancy, Capex, discount and capitalisation rates

• Knowledge of balance sheet valuation and relevant key figures, in particular IFRS/HGB, Fair Value and EPRA NTA

• Very good Excel skills, especially in Pivot and Power Query; knowledge of VBA and experience with valuation software such as Argus Enterprise or Yardi are an advantage

• Fluent German and good English language skills
