Our client is looking for a Senior IT Consultant Security (m/f/d) to support clients at the Hamburg or Munich locations in the design, implementation, and further development of modern security architectures and to act as the central point of contact for Network and Data Center Security.

Your tasks

• Advising clients on suitable security solutions in the area of network security and data centre security

• Analysing client requirements and developing tailored security concepts

• Design, implementation, and maintenance of security infrastructures

• Independent management of security projects up to medium complexity

• Technological support in presales, e.g. in tenders and client meetings

• Conducting workshops and client presentations on security architectures

• Troubleshooting in demanding security environments

• Creation of architecture and solution concepts as well as documentation

Your profile

• At least 4 years of professional experience in the field of IT security

• Sound knowledge of at least two vendors from the following environment: Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point, F5, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Zscaler, Palo Alto or similar

• Experience in the design and implementation of security architectures

• Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and good knowledge of English (at least B2)

• Degree in IT or vocational training as a qualified IT specialist or comparable qualification

• Ideally certifications such as CCNP Security or Fortinet Certified Professional

• Class B driving licence

• Independent, structured, and client-oriented way of working

• Strong consulting skills, technical depth, and understanding of architecture

• Flexibility and willingness to travel (approx. 20 per cent travel)
