Our client is looking for a Java Software Engineer (m/f/d) to develop modern web applications using Java and Spring Boot, implement microservices and REST APIs, and further develop existing applications technically and in terms of performance.

Your responsibilities

• Development of modern web applications with Java and Spring Boot in the backend

• Design, implementation and optimisation of RESTful APIs and microservices

• Working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. SQL or document databases)

• Close collaboration with other developers and departments in agile teams

• Conducting code reviews and quality assurance through automated tests

• Troubleshooting and performance optimisation of existing applications

Your profile

• Degree in IT, IT training or comparable professional experience in software development

• Several years of experience in development with Java and Spring Boot

• Practical experience with microservice architectures and RESTful APIs

• Good knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases

• Experience with Git and Continuous Delivery

• Knowledge of React, TypeScript or Kubernetes is an advantage

• Good knowledge of German
