Our client, an internationally active high-tech company in the field of industrial automation located in the border triangle (Germany/France/Switzerland), is looking for a System Engineer Infrastructure (m/f/d) to plan, operate and develop the IT infrastructure in the areas of servers, storage, network and security.

Your responsibilities

• Planning, operation and further development of the infrastructure in the areas of servers, storage, network, firewall and data centre

• Ensuring the availability, performance and security of the IT systems

• Independent management and implementation of infrastructure projects as well as collaboration in international IT projects

• Analysis and resolution of incidents in 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support

• Administration of Windows and Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365

• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as further development of IT service management processes

Your profile

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable knowledge acquired through practical experience

• Solid experience in the areas of network, firewall and data centre

• Good knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365

• Experience in IT service management as well as knowledge of ITIL and project management are an advantage

• Good conceptual and analytical skills as well as a structured, independent way of working

• German and English language skills, both written and spoken, at at least B2 level
