Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer Kubernetes (m/f/d) to run and further develop the container platform and the central IT infrastructure with a focus on stability, security, and automation in an established DevOps team.

Your responsibilities

• Operation and further development of containerised applications and platform services on Kubernetes (robust, automated, scalable)

• Ensuring reliable operation of the IT and platform infrastructure (servers/VMs, storage, databases, interfaces, and peripheral systems) including patch, capacity, and lifecycle management

• Increasing availability and performance through observability (monitoring, alerting, logging) as well as structured fault analysis including sustainable troubleshooting and post-mortems

• Close cooperation with development and other IT teams (e.g. deployments, releases, troubleshooting) and continuous improvement of interfaces and operational processes

• Participation in projects from technical concept to implementation and driving automation forward (e.g. CI/CD, deployment standards, self-services)

Your profile

• Completed IT training or degree in computer science/IT or a comparable qualification

• Very good knowledge of Linux, container technologies, and Kubernetes, ideally with experience in operating production environments

• Practical experience in at least one of the following areas: CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, or scripting (e.g. Bash or Python)

• Ideally experience with tools such as ArgoCD, Tekton, Keycloak, Artifactory, Liquibase, MinIO, or solutions from the HashiCorp ecosystem (or comparable technologies)

• Service-oriented and structured working style, as well as business fluent German and good English skills
