Our client is looking for an Application Support Specialist and Developer (m/f/d) in Berlin. Together with the data center team, you will ensure the stable operation of existing applications and continuously optimize, develop, and modernize them.

Your Responsibilities

• Technical and functional support of running applications in regular operation

• Monitoring, error analysis, and long-term resolution of incidents

• Performance and stability optimization of systems

• Conceptualization, further development, and maintenance of existing applications

• Setup and support of specialized hardware (e.g., scanners with text recognition, printers)

• Communication with our B2B customers

Your Profile

• Interest in understanding functional backgrounds and processes

• Team-oriented and structured way of working

• Knowledge in as many of the following areas as possible:

  • VBA, MS Office

  • Java, JUnit

  • Spring Framework

  • Software architecture (SOA, microservices)

  • Clean Code / Design Patterns

  • Maven (build and dependency management)

  • Git

  • Containerization (Docker)

  • Kubernetes (cluster management, deployment manifests)

  • SQL / relational databases

  • Basic understanding of networks

• Willingness to acquire further knowledge

• Openness to analyzing and supporting legacy applications, as well as interest in modern technologies

• Systematic and analytical thinking (understanding of relationships in code and infrastructure)

• High level of commitment

• Very good German language skills as well as good English skills
