Senior Solution Consultant for Public Security successfully hired in under 8 weeks
The Challenge
A client from the public security sector was looking for a Senior Solution Consultant with a focus on Incubation & Requirements.
The position forms a central interface between customers, technology and strategy. The search was for someone who could take on complex and sometimes still vague customer requirements, structure them in workshops and develop viable technical solution concepts from them.
In addition to a sound technical understanding, experience in IT project management, intelligence and AI was particularly in demand. Knowledge from areas such as OSINT, cyber intelligence or the analysis of large volumes of data was also relevant.
The combination of technical expertise, consulting competence and experience in a demanding, security-critical environment meant that the available candidate market was correspondingly small.
Our Approach
Shortly after receiving the position, we started our targeted search and directly approached suitable candidates.
By 15 June 2026, we were already able to present the first qualified profiles. In the further course of the process, we presented a total of five specifically selected candidates to the client.
The focus was not on presenting as many profiles as possible, but on candidates who possessed both the necessary technical understanding and the required communication and consulting skills for the demanding customer environment.
Two of the five presented candidates were invited to an interview. One candidate impressed in the further selection process and was offered the position.
