Recruiting Challenge - Program
Manager A privately owned automotive OEM and aftermarket plastics manufacturing
company approached Nova Search to help find a Contract Program Manager
to oversee a new, high profile program. The company also needed an
influx of lower level white collar workers for the project. It
had been working with larger firms that repeatedly submitted resumes
that did not match the requirements for the position. The
OEM was losing money every day positions remained unfilled. Appropriate
local candidates who lived nearby or were willing to commute needed
to be found immediately.
Resolution
Nova Search sought out candidates who already lived near the OEM
in an effort to avoid long delays associated with relocation. In
less than a week, Nova Search presented the OEM with a short list
of five top candidates for the Contract Program Manager position. The
company made an offer to one of the candidates, which was accepted
two weeks later.
Nova Search subsequently placed twenty-two product engineers at
the OEM, demonstrating its ability to deal with high volume personnel
requirements. |
